The Pantheon (Rome) unearthed

The Pantheon is one of the best-preserved Roman buildings in the world. The building owes this to the fact that it was transformed into a church in the 7th century and has been continuously used and maintained.

The Pantheon is still in use as a Roman Catholic Church and is dedicated to Saint Mary and the Martyrs. The Pantheon is still in good condition, but is missing the bronze ceiling covering of the dome.

Much obliged Ancient History Nerd
